The Treasure Coast Homeless Services Council (TCHSC) works to prevent and end homelessness on the Treasure Coast, ensuring that homelessness, if it occurs, is brief and non-recurring. TCHSC serves as the lead agency for the Continuum of Care in the tri-county region of Indian River, St. Lucie, and Martin Counties in Florida, collaborating with 63 service providers to address homelessness at a community-wide level.
Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role as a Case Manager at Treasure Coast Homeless Services Council, operating out of Vero Beach, FL. As a Case Manager, you will be responsible for assessing client needs, developing and implementing service plans, coordinating resources, advocating for clients, and providing ongoing support to help individuals and families transition out of homelessness.
Qualifications
- Case management, social work, or counseling skills
- Knowledge of community resources and social services
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Experience with crisis intervention and problem-solving
- Empathy, patience, and cultural sensitivity
- Bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, counseling, or related field
- Previous experience working with homeless populations is a plus
