Job Description:
Responsibilities:
- Establish connections between Collibra and various data sources, reports, and dashboard tools
- Review metadata and lineage for accuracy
- Verify automated updates to metadata and lineage
- Set up lineage diagrams for business use cases
- Collaborate with Data Governance team members and business users
- Document processes and track tasks
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Analytics, or a related field.
Required Skills:
- Proficiency in determining data lineage for enterprise data sources and systems
- Proven experience as a Data Analyst, Data Engineer, or in a similar role
- Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and BigQuery, or similar
- Experience with reporting/dashboarding tools such as Tableau, PowerBI, Cognos, and/or Looker Studio
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with data warehousing, ETL, and data integration
- Knowledge of data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA)
- Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms (e.g., GCP, AWS, Azure)
