Senior Finance Analyst – Defense Program
Location: [Indianapolis, IN]
Engenium working in partnership with a leading defense prime contractor, on an initiative dedicated to enhancing warfighter training from base to battlefield is seeking to build out the Finance team. As part of the Finance and Pricing Office, you will contribute to the financial management of contracts, ensuring effective integration of physical and digital infrastructures to improve training outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the financial management, planning, tracking, and analysis of Task Order financials, covering a broad range of values, from tens to hundreds of millions of dollars.
- Support the program’s financial goals by establishing and maintaining cost/schedule baselines and Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) to ensure alignment with the WTRS mission.
- Perform detailed financial reporting on accumulated costs, funds expended, projected costs, actuals, and burn rates for the program.
- Assist with working capital activities, including invoicing for unbilled costs, accruals, cost backup, and supporting financial deliverables such as MSRs and InSITE financial updates.
- Contribute to the development of Rough Order of Magnitude (ROM) and Bill of Materials (BOM) for various Training Data Packages (TDPs) essential to long-term success.
Required Experience:
- At least 2 years with a BA/BS, 1 year with an MA/MS, or 6 years of experience with no degree in a financial analyst role within the defense sector.
- Experience in managing financials for high-value defense contracts, tracking task orders, and reporting on costs and revenue projections.
- Expertise in supporting financial deliverables, especially within the defense industry, and familiarity with goals and readiness training.
- Strong skills in working under finance managers to maintain cost/schedule baselines and reporting progress within established program baselines.

- Must hold an active DoD Secret Clearance to work on the program.
