We are looking to hire a Supply Chain and Import Logistics Coordinator within the Pharmaceutical/Nutritional Supplements industry. This is a full-time permanent opportunity.
Our client is an industry-leading global organization specializing in the production and distribution of top-quality pharmaceuticals and nutritional supplements. We are currently seeking an experienced and highly reliable Supply Chain and Import Logistics Coordinator to optimize their operations and supply chain team.
We are in search of a detail-oriented, systematic, and enthusiastic individual to join our dynamic team as a Supply Chain and Import Logistics Coordinator.
Responsibilities:
• Understand, manage, and supervise all aspects of our supply chain.
• Coordinate and monitor supply chain operations including heavy import logistics and dealing with customs as well as large dollar amount orders.
• Liaise with our overseas suppliers, freight forwarders, and custom brokers to ensure timely and cost-efficient delivery of goods.
• Coordinate and manage inventory counts and resolve any discrepancies.
• Support the planning and execution of forecasting and material management strategies.
• Evaluate vendor operational performance and compliance with contractual terms and conditions.
• Collaborate with sales, operations, and customer service teams.
• Stay updated with technological advancements in supply chain management.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or relevant field.
• Proven experience in logistics and supply chain management, preferably in the pharmaceutical or nutritional supplement industry.
• Familiarity with safety and health standards, import laws, and regulations.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Proficient in supply chain management software and MS office.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
