Title: Logistics Specialist
Salary: $25-30/ hour

Company Overview:
Our client is one of the global leaders in the medical device industry, seeking to hire a logistics specialist. The ideal candidate will execute the company’s logistics functions including processing customer orders, receiving international shipments and timely correspondence to sensitive customer needs.
Responsible for daily operations which include receiving inventory and managing supply chain process via customs. In addition, fulfilling North American customer orders managing both communication and time sensitive shipments with local couriers to achieve zero errors while exceeding customer expectations.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain effectiveness and continuous improvement of logistics process
- Coordinate with external logistics providers
- Daily fulfilling customers’ orders through precision pipetting
- Process customer orders for shipments and coordinating both communication and scheduling external logistics pick ups for overnight delivery
- Participate in the purchase-sell-stock process
- Timely and accurate delivery and ensure that goods are packed and transported under correct conditions
- ERP system data entry, related documents, reports sorting, and archiving
- Assist in purchasing pre-processing orders
- Assist in in processing customer orders, quotes and other customer inquiries
- Other work arranged by leaders
REQUIREMENTS:
• Bachelor's degree preferred; High School Diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
• One to Three (1-3) years of related job experience preferred; an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform necessary functions of the job
• Basic understanding of quality system principles
• Ability to work independently and as a team to meet goals, objectives and deadlines
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite required
• Experience in working with courier companies and/or customs
authorities
• Basic knowledge about biotechnology laboratory work practices
• Experience with working in aseptic laboratory
