What Makes This Role Unique?
As the Site Medical Director, you’ll straddle two worlds: inspiring our clinical staff while providing hands-on patient care for 16 hours each week. You’ll have the opportunity to shape the healthcare experience for our patients and providers alike! Your responsibilities will include recruiting and mentoring primary care providers and specialists, enhancing clinical processes, and championing quality improvement initiatives. You’ll play a crucial role in advancing our medical home model and spearheading innovative healthcare delivery changes that resonate throughout the community.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Lead with Heart: Inspire and manage a diverse clinical team, ensuring high-quality patient care.
- Innovate & Improve: Focus on process improvements for clinical care, patient access, staffing, utilization management, and scheduling.
- Drive Change: Participate in budgeting and strategic planning while contributing to quality improvement and compliance initiatives.
- Balance Clinical & Admin: Navigate the blend of patient care and administrative responsibilities seamlessly.
What You’ll Need to Shine:
- Current MA MD/DO License
- Board Certified Family Physician with an accredited residency completion
- 5+ years of primary care experience, preferably in community health settings
- Strong administrative, supervisory, and budgeting skills
