We're on the search for a diligent Paralegal to assist one of our clients on a temporary basis to start, with the possibility of going permanent. Qualified candidates will have a passion for the legal field and prior experience

Responsibilities and day-to-day:
- Analyze claims and prepare analysis letters for adjusters and/or experts.
- Subpoena medical records and other investigative documents.
- Summarize medical records.
- Hearing preparation including but not limited to exhibits, reference documents, and research as needed by attorney(s).
- Prepare documents for Expert/Expert contact.
- File management.
- E-filing; MDEC, DC.
- Proficient with billing time keeping/billing hours.
- All other duties as assigned.
Qualifications we are looking for:
- Associates’ degree or equivalent years of experience, or background in Paralegal Studies.
- Minimum 2 years’ law firm experience.
- Proven performance in the pre-litigation process.
- Experienced and skilled in computer systems in a windows and Microsoft based environment.
- Ability to learn new software systems easily.
- Demonstrated ability to articulate clearly and effectively.
- Superior listening, oral and written skills.
