Position Overview
As a member of our engineering team, you’ll collaborate closely with the Lead Engineer to design and develop robust and scalable solutions that drive our products forward.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Lead Engineer in designing the architecture of specific products or applications, incorporating principles of availability, security, reusability, and interoperability.
- Participate in development, optimization, and automation efforts to bring applications to life.
- Apply engineering best practices to produce high-quality, scalable software solutions.
- Assist in improving the build process for our software products.
- Identify opportunities to enhance overall code quality by addressing deficiencies in the codebase.
- Conduct peer code reviews to ensure quality across the engineering team.
- Engage in design discussions to build solutions that are secure, scalable, and durable.
- Proactively address potential production support issues.
Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience with Linux is essential.
- 3+ years of experience with Python, Django, and PostgreSQL.
- Ability to quickly learn new technologies and concepts.
- Self-motivated and driven to succeed in a small team environment.
- Adaptable with changing priorities.
- Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and analytical abilities.
Nice to Have:
- Strong understanding of computer hardware (e.g., hard drives, RAID cards, SAS, NVMe, U.2 M.2).
Recommended:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
