CornerStone Technology Talent Services is seeking a Senior Technical Operations Analyst with a strong background in SQL, Power BI, and data warehousing. This role will focus on delivering optimized paginated reports, organizing and transforming healthcare data, and handling SQL-based reporting and analysis. The ideal candidate will have experience working with stored procedures, understanding healthcare nomenclature, and optimizing global data feeds. Knowledge of PBM (Pharmacy Benefit Management) is a plus, but not required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Interpret data, build reports, and optimize SQL for performance improvements.
- Analyze results using statistical techniques in projects related to financial strategy, rebates, and internal optimizations.
- Serve as the main point of contact for IT day-to-day operations and track SQL performance.
- Organize and manage the submission of medical rebates.
- Collaborate with both technical and business teams to solve complex business problems and develop new functionalities.
- Perform ad-hoc reporting and analysis using SQL, Power BI, and Excel, including custom report packages.
- Deliver reports, especially paginated ones in Power BI, optimized for export to PDF or Excel formats.
- Optimize data feeds from various sources and ensure global efficiency in data handling processes.
- Work on assignments with minimal supervision, managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Assist with network and pricing audits as needed.
- Communicate effectively with business and technical teams, interpreting trends and patterns in large, complex datasets.
- Apply expertise in data warehousing, ensuring efficient data organization and transformation.
Skills Required:
- 3+ years of analytics experience with SSRS/Power BI paginated reporting.
- Advanced experience in SQL (T-SQL), including stored procedures and script optimization.
- Broad knowledge of data warehousing and experience in optimizing global data feeds.
- Proficiency in Power BI and delivering paginated reports optimized for PDF and Excel formats.
- Familiarity with healthcare nomenclature, with PBM experience being a plus.
- Experience in Excel VBA for automating reporting processes is a plus, but not required.
- Familiarity with SSMS, SSRS, and SSIS.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in SQL, Power BI, and data warehousing.
- Knowledge of healthcare data and the ability to organize and transform data effectively.
- Certifications in Power BI or SQL are a plus.
- Familiarity with VB code is a plus but not required.
