Network Security Engineer

Full Time / 40 hours per week / FTE / W2
CDW has a long term career opportunity available in Reno, NV. For this position, we seek a background in network infrastructure, including routing, switching, telephony and video and the accompanying hardware and software.
- A minimum of six years of recent professional experience in network administration and network security protocols, encompassing both hardware and software.
- Proven expertise in designing network infrastructures, including telephony and video systems.
- Proficiency in configuring Cisco routers and switches.
- Familiarity with at least one of the following firewalls: Checkpoint, PaloAlto, Fortigate, along with knowledge of IDS/IPS and Syslog.
- Preference for Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) certification.
- Demonstrated capability in managing and supporting VPNs.
- Experience working with Border Gateway Protocol (BGP), Multi-Protocol Label Switching (MPLS), and Quality of Service (QoS).
- Proficient in configuring wireless networks.
- Hands-on experience in setting up and troubleshooting Windows Server and Active Directory.
