We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Supply Chain Buyer to support an international organization based in Denver, CO. The Supply Chain Buyer will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing materials, products, and services required for company operations. Qualified applicants would have extensive expeirence utilizing SAP and contract management.
Details:
- Project Length: 3 months to start
- Pay Rate: $70-$73 per hour
- Hours: Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm
- Remote Flexibility: Hybrid with on-site requirements 2-3 days per week (Candidates MUST be located in Colorado)
- Office Location: Denver Tech Center
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide contract administration, sourcing, and general procurement duties
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, resolving disputes and ensuring performance meets expectations.
- Generate and manage purchase orders, track deliveries, and ensure timely receipt of goods.
- Onboard new suppliers and collaborate with internal teams for smooth integration.
- Analyze market trends and pricing to negotiate contracts and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Monitor inventory levels, forecast needs, and coordinate with departments to meet production timelines.
- Ensure procurement processes comply with company policies and industry regulations.
- Manage supplier issues and support Ariba-related invoicing, payments, and troubleshooting.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related
- 5+ years of experience in Supply Chain (sourcing, procurement, negotiations, contracting, category management, supplier management, etc.)
- Strong understanding and experience with various contract times, contract models, and contract strategies
- Excellent organizational and project management skills
- Proficient SAP and/or SAP Ariba
