Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Power Platform Architect to lead and design innovative solutions using Microsoft Power Platform for a financial services customer. The role will require you to work onsite, directly collaborating with business and IT stakeholders to deliver digital transformation projects. The ideal candidate will have in-depth experience in Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, Power Virtual Agents), and strong expertise in architecture design for complex enterprise solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Architecture & Design:
- Lead the architectural design, development, and implementation of Power Platform solutions.
- Define solution architecture and integration strategies that meet business and technical requirements in the financial services domain.
- Ensure scalability, performance, security, and compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Stakeholder Management:
- Engage with business leaders, analysts, and technical teams to gather and analyze requirements.
- Translate business needs into functional and technical specifications using Power Platform tools.
- Present solutions and architecture to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Development & Delivery:
- Oversee the full project lifecycle from concept to implementation, ensuring quality and timely delivery of solutions.
- Hands-on development and prototyping in Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI.
- Work closely with internal teams and client IT departments to ensure smooth integration of solutions with existing systems.
- Best Practices & Governance:
- Establish and enforce best practices for Power Platform governance, security, and data management.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards relevant to financial services, including data privacy and security.
- Drive adoption of Power Platform within the organization, mentoring junior team members and providing training to end-users.
Qualifications:
- Technical Expertise:
- Extensive experience with Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, Power Virtual Agents).
- Strong knowledge of Dynamics 365, Azure services, Dataverse, and other related technologies.
- Proficiency in cloud-based architecture, especially in Azure, including integrations, connectors, and data management.
- Experience in Financial Services:
- Prior experience working in financial services is highly desirable.
- Understanding of financial services-specific regulatory and compliance requirements (e.g., SOX, GDPR, PCI DSS).
- Professional Experience:
- 12+ years of experience in solution architecture with at least 8+ years focused on Power Platform.
- Hands-on experience with low-code/no-code development.
- Proven track record of delivering enterprise-level solutions in a client-facing environment.
- Soft Skills:
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to interact with both business and technical stakeholders.
