We are seeking an experienced individual to join our team and provide mechanical design services for a range of building projects. The successful candidate will have the following responsibilities:
Responsibilities:
- Manage projects and teams and provide technical design on assigned projects.
- Assist in producing construction documents for new buildings, renovations, and additions to existing facilities.
- Develop and maintain project schedules.
- Coordinate project designs with other disciplines.
- Build and maintain positive client relationships.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical building codes and ability to perform accurate load calculations.
- Mechanical/HVAC design experience in retail, commercial, boilers, chillers, and related markets.
- Knowledge of sustainable design practices.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- High proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit MEP engineering modeling tools
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university in Mechanical Engineering.
- EIT/ PE preferred NOT required
- Familiarity with AutoCAD and/or Revit is preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong desire to continue learning, advance professionally, and work in a fast-paced, design team environment.
