Job Description
As our Director of Business Operations, you will be the company's mercinary–jumping into the highest impact initiatives of the company and driving them forward. You should balance experience and expertise with scrappiness and urgency–a bias towards action and high-ownership mindset are paramount to success. You should be energized by rolling up your sleeves, experimenting rigorously, and building and optimizing operations, products, and business lines for rapid expansion.
We are looking for an "athlete" who can make an impact on whatever is in front of them. The ideal candidate will have a successful track record leading a company through a significant growth period.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate directly with the CEO to oversee the growth of the company and develop systems to support our growth
- Work across operations, enrollment, analytics, and product to align and execute projects according to the company roadmap
- Jump into various cross-functional projects to keep things on track and fill in the gaps in skill and bandwidth. One day you may be writing an analytics script, the next you might be in Figma designing an ad creative
- Manage and optimize company systems utilized by all teams, with an eye for automation and efficiency
- Build and maintain the company framework for ideation, prioritization, and experimentation
- Prioritize key partnerships and delivering top-notch support to keep partners happy
- Own day-to-day people operations to keep the company running smoothly such as organizing company bonding, office equipment, and more
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in a high-ownership startup environment
- Demonstrated history of solving ambiguous problems and building new things from the ground up
- Love for rolling up your sleeves and doing the work that no one else would do in order to get the results that no one else will
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, even when managing many tasks
- A learner’s mindset with a history of seeking out and picking up new tools, skillsets, and perspectives
- Adaptability, coachability, a high level of motivation, and a strong sense of urgency, with comfort working in a fast-paced environment
