My Client, an established Heavy Civil General Contractor, is continuing to experience exponential growth and still looking to expand in order to exploit exciting new opportunities. With an increasing backlog they are searching for a Project Engineer ready to take on critical projects and more responsibilities.
Markets: Bridge, Dam, Road, Concrete, Culverts, Retaining Walls, Foundations.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Project Managers on crucial heavy civil projects.
- Assist updating the project schedule and subcontractors schedules.
- Lead development of project plans, submittals' and specs.
- Provide reliable material deliveries in line with the project schedule.
- Overlook and negotiate trade partner change proposals.
- Assist during drawing process with Project Managers and Superintendents.
- Attend meetings with clients and Senior Leaders.
Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering or relevant experience.
- 2+ years of experience as a Project Engineer.
- Experience with Bridge/Road/Concrete work.
- Showcased ability to handle scheduling, cost engineering, subcontract coordination, general project administration.
