Scope of Work:
Separation Techniques
- Perform chiral separations using Supercritical Fluid Chromatography (SFC) methods.
- Conduct achiral separations utilizing various columns and High-Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC) systems.
- Develop methods for separations across different scales, ranging from milligrams to multigrams.
Analytical Assessment
- Assess enantiomeric excess, diastereomeric excess, and sample purity through analytical techniques.
Equipment Proficiency
- Demonstrate familiarity and experience with Agilent, Waters, and other SFC equipment.
Methodology Development
Champion new separation techniques and methodologies to enhance analytical capabilities.
Collaboration and Communication
- Liaise with other analytical chemists within Integrated Drug Discovery and Early Development.
- Clear and timely communication regarding work plans and results.
Continuous Learning
- Stay informed on current literature and participate in meetings to address analytical challenges.
Troubleshooting and Support
- Troubleshoot instrument issues effectively and coordinate with service representatives as needed.
Compliance and Safety
- Operate within the lab safely and efficiently, adhering to Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) guidelines and mandatory company compliance requirements.
- Adapt to changes and challenges productively and professionally.
