We are looking for an experienced bookkeeper/junior accountant/admin with the following requirements:
- must be located in the New York Metro Area
- must have solid local references
- must be proficient with QuickBooks Online (including transitioning out of it)
- must have experience with filing sales taxes (and similar trust-fund taxes)
- must have good communication skills and have the ability to pick up the phone and resolve an issue
- must understand the big picture, i.e. look at a P&L or BS and understand whether book entries you just made make sense
This is a part-time position for approx. 30 hours per week and may lead to full-time. You will be supporting SRV Partners and its sister company.
