Aegis is seeking a Microbiologist to join our clients organization in Vernon Hills, IL. The ideal candidate has the ideal experience and background.
- Bachelor's degree in Microbiology, biology or related scientific field.
- At least 1 year of experience in microbiology laboratory, pharmaceutical industry or medical device industry
- Able to understand, interpret, and executive established written procedures
- Experience with microbiology as it relates to environmental monitoring and completing investigations.
- Experience conducting root cause analysis of microbiological excursions and experience with corrective actions
- Experience and working knowledge of GDP, GLP, GMP, ISO and regulatory standards.
- Able to exhibit excellent analytical and technical writing skills.
- Able to communicate verbally across all levels of the organization.
- Experience working with Word and Excel
- Able to work independently and part of a team
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment
- Experience training and helping coworkers work through situations
- Able to sit, stand, reach, and walk for prolonged periods of time.
