JOB DESCRIPTION
A client/employer of Insight Global is searching for a Senior SAP Production Analyst to join their team onsite in Memphis, TN. This person involved in the full lifecycle development of SAP-based business applications and information systems solutions for the company's internal customers. They will also collaborate with business process owners and power users to deliver top-tier solutions that support various production and warehouse teams. The ideal candidate will have a strong grasp of core SAP configuration and design best practices, ensuring success in this role.
Responsibilities may include:
- Business Process Support: Analyze and support processes related to demand, production, inventory, and warehousing.
- Gap Analysis: Conduct gap analysis between current and future designs based on a global template.
- Collaboration and Configuration: Work with business teams to provide industry-standard solutions and perform hands-on configuration, especially in Production Planning (PP), Shop Floor Execution, Inventory, and Warehouse Management (IM/WM/EWM), with secondary focus on Quality Management (QM).
- Integration and Testing: Analyze integration needs with legacy and third-party systems, and execute standard SAP testing cycles (SIT, INT, RGR, E2E).
- Support and Agile Practices: Provide SAP platform support, solve issues, and work using Agile practices like sprint planning and reviews.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Gather requirements, prioritize features, and deliver solutions that meet business needs.
- On-Call Availability: Be available 24/7 for on-call duties and other assigned tasks.
Must-Have Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in MIS, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
- 10 years with SAP ECC
- 3 years with S/4 HANA, covering key business processes like Pick to Fill (IM/WM/EWM), Plan to Produce/Demand to Supply (PP), and Quality Management (QM).
- At least one full lifecycle implementation of S/4 HANA/Fiori or 2-3 full lifecycle implementations of ECC in Production Planning (PP), Warehouse Management (IM/WM/EWM), and Manufacturing Costing/Supply Chain Finance (FSCM).
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities, excellent communication and collaboration skills, and proficiency in various phases of SAP projects using the Activate methodology.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in pharma, medical device industry, or discrete manufacturing in controlled environments are preferred
