The SAP S/4HANA Solutions Architect will be responsible for the overall architecture and integration of our client’s SAP S/4HANA project including third-party applications. This role will ensure that the SAP S/4HANA solution aligns with our client's refinery’s objectives, IT strategy, and industry best practices. The SAP S/4HANA Solutions Architect will possess extensive experience in SAP S/4HANA and integrating complex systems.
The SAP S/4HANA Solutions Architect must seek to understand the refinery business, Oil and Gas practices, and be comfortable working in a manufacturing environment.
Stakeholder Management:
- Sits on the SAP S4/HANA core team and collaborates with leads from Finance, Procurement, Supply Chain, Maintenance and Construction, and Engineering.
- Educate business on SAP S/4 Greenfield best practices and roadmap
- Collaborates closely with Enterprise Architect to ensure SAP architecture is in line with the business strategic roadmap for capabilities and applications.
- Work closely with PMO (Project Management Office) and OCM (Organizational Change Management) teams to deliver SAP S/4HANA project.
- Work closely with the cross-functional IT technical team for enforcing infrastructure, network, and cybersecurity requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for architectural design and integration management of SAP S/4HANA.
- Alignment with SAP S/4HANA Oil and Gas Roadmap
- Align and enforce project IT governance with overall IT governance including risk management, security protocols, and regulatory requirements.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to the project team, adhering to architectural principles, standards, and best practices.
- Create and maintain comprehensive architectural documentation including system designs, integration diagrams, and technical specifications.
- Drive designs that encompass full end to end business process and cross functional business processes in mind.
Skills & Experience Required:
- Bachelors or Master’s degree and five (5) years or more experience
- Proven experience as a Solutions Architect with focus on SAP S/4HANA projects.
- Strong knowledge of SAP S/4HANA.
- Experience using Signavio or similar BPM tools.
- Cloud computing technologies including third party applications with various integration tools and technologies.
- Experience with enterprise-level software development.
- Ability to define business needs and capabilities and develop functional specifications for new or enhanced systems and processes
Preferred Experience:
- Experience with downstream SAP implementations and processes
- Experience with common refinery applications including Primavera P6, APM, etc.
- Experience with SAP BTP
