We are seeking a disciplined and experienced Senior Project Manager with 8-12 years of expertise in core project management, SDLC processes, and PMP methodologies. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing budgets, tracking timelines, and ensuring that projects are delivered on time and within budget. This role will involve monitoring KPIs, managing dependencies, and providing clear visibility into potential project risks.
This is a 10 month consulting opportunity and has a hybrid work model which requires 3 days onsite.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage large-scale projects, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
- Create and maintain overview status reports, track project progress, and present findings to stakeholders.
- Drive project execution through detailed planning and tracking, ensuring all elements are organized and on target.
- Monitor KPIs, identify potential risks, and adjust project plans to ensure timely delivery.
- Proactively communicate with teams about overdue tasks and potential cost implications due to delays.
- Utilize tools like MS Project, Azure DevOps (ADO), or JIRA for tracking dependencies and ensuring transparency across the project lifecycle.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements, including 21 CFR Part 11 (preferred).
- Apply deep project management expertise to organize workflows and maintain a structured approach throughout the project.
- Guide teams in identifying and adjusting early start dates and managing dependencies to mitigate risks and delays.
Qualifications:
- 8-12 years of project management experience, with a deep understanding of PMP concepts and SDLC processes.
- PMP certification required.
- 2-3 years of hands-on experience implementing software solutions.
- Strong experience in the Consumer-Packaged Goods (CPG) industry is essential.
- Familiarity with MS Project, Azure DevOps (ADO), or JIRA for project tracking and dependency management.
- Highly organized, with excellent attention to detail and the ability to bring projects to completion efficiently.
- Strong ability to anticipate project challenges and implement effective solutions to mitigate risks.
- Experience with 21 CFR Part 11 compliance is a plus.
