SUMMARY
We are seeking a proactive and creative Marketing Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing our social media channels, crafting engaging content, analyzing performance metrics, and supporting a variety marketing campaigns targeted at restaurant and foodservice, customers, retail (grocery) customers, and end consumers. Additionally, the role involves creating marketing materials, managing email marketing campaigns, overseeing digital advertising efforts, and supporting public relations initiatives.
The Marketing Specialist will collaborate closely with internal teams to optimize our products across different customer channels and actively engage with industry partners to promote our branded products. The position reports into the Marketing Manager
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage social media channels (Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, LinkedIn), creating monthly content calendars and scheduling posts across all channels aligning with overall strategy
- Track, analyze, and report on social media insights
- Support marketing campaigns targeted to restaurants and retail customers (CHOCO)
- Content Creation (marketing and sales material, social media) for own-use and retail and foodservice customers including photography, videography, and editing
- Creation of internal sales and training material
- Manage email marketing program (B2B and D2C)
- Support management of digital advertising campaigns (Meta, LinkedIn, Instacart)
- Support Public Relations strategy / press release schedule
- Support promotion and execution of in-person events and shows
- Support graphic design and packaging design
- Engage with industry partners to promote branded seafood products
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing or a related field
- 2+ years’ experience managing a Business or entrepreneurial social media account
- 1+ years’ experience in marketing related position
- Strong familiarity with the business applications of social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, X, YouTube, LinkedIn, etc.)
- Understanding of social media metrics; able to interpret the results and take action to increase effectiveness of social media campaigns
- Impeccable written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to efficiently manage priorities
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Open to giving and receiving feedback
- Basic graphic design experience
- Excellent attention to detail
- Familiarity with Google Analytics and other social media analytical tools a plus
- Background or special interest in the Food Industry a plus
- Video editing skills a plus
- Experience with Adobe Suite preferred (Premiere Pro, Lightroom, Photoshop, etc.)

- Provide analytics on the success of social media accounts you manage
