Our client, a Private Practice firm representing employers, insurance carriers, and third-party administrators is looking to bring on a remote Associate in the defense of Workers' Compensation Claims. With offices all across California in SF and LA, this is a remote position with occasional meetings in person featuring no yearly billable hours.
Responsibilities:
- Lead with Expertise: Represent clients in workers' compensation proceedings with unmatched expertise.
- Research & Strategize: Dive deep into legal matters, analyze complex issues, and strategize solutions.
- Practice: Attend hearings, negotiate settlements, and maintain meaningful relationships with clients and peers.
Requirements:
- J.D required
- 2+ years of relevant legal experience with a focus on workers' compensation involvement
Compensation/ Benefits: (from 120k-200k base, dependent on the level of experience)
- Bonuses on top of base, can be up to 52k in yearly bonus broken up quarterly
- Collaborative bonuses are also offered, as well as origination bonuses
