Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations
- Ensure compliance with shipping processes for domestic and international shipment
- Maintains shipping staff job results by training, measuring, monitoring, coaching, counseling, and performance manage employees
- Ensure good condition of facility/equipment through regular audit and implementation of preventative maintenance protocols
- Respond timely and professionally to customer complaints and inquiries
- Conducts short and mid-term capacity planning to ensure labor and equipment resources are balanced with demand
- Ensures shipping staffing needs through recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees.
- Monitor shipping workflow indicators and respond to exceptions
- Troubleshooting complex inventory and shipping errors. Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions
- Guide and manage the process of packing and shipping product to customers
- Collaborate across departments to ensure efficient workflow and positive working relationships among teams
- Conduct training for employees on all aspects of job performance including safety, quality, business processes, and HR policies
- Interface with Sales Administration Team to obtain shipping instruction.

Requirements:
- AA-Degree or equivalent experience
- 3-5 years of leadership experience in OEM volume shipping
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
- Have excellent communications skills, both written and verbal
- Experience with warehouse management systems
- Proficient in MS Office applications including Outlook, Word, Power Point, and Excel
- Experience with operating and maintaining a variety of warehouse material handling equipment
- Have trade compliance experience
- Must be on site at A10 San Jose HQ – 5-Days a week and be able to work weekends/other where needed
- Heavy influence for organization and process
- Hands on candidate that will work with staff in day-to-day where needed
- Must be able to periodically lift ~40-50-lbs
Desired Skills:
- Prefer experience with Oracle ERP system
