Summary:
The Assistant Director of Nursing Services (ADNS) is required to perform the functions of this position in accordance with current federal, state and local regulations as well as this facility's established policies and procedures to ensure that the highest degree of quality nursing care is provided to meet/maintain the medical needs of the residents on an individual basis.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and influence culture of clinical excellent to support company mission, vision and core values
- Promote, communicate and monitor Code of Conduct, Compliance and CHOICES values
- Foster culture in entire nursing department that extends to all supporting entities and visitors in facility
- Monitor medication passes and treatment schedules to ensure that medications are being administered, as ordered, and that treatments are provided, as scheduled
- Delegate administrative authority, responsibility, and accountability to nursing managers as deemed necessary to perform their assigned duties
- Report problem areas to the Director and assist in developing and implementing corrective action
- Recommend updates to equipment as necessary and monitor safe practices of staff in using equipment
- Monitor nursing procedures to ensure that nursing service supplies are used in an efficient manner to avoid waste
Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Possession of a New Hampshire State license as a Registered Nurse
- BLS Certified.
- 1+ years supervisor experience in a related healthcare facility
- Must possess ability to make independent decisions when warranted
- Must possess ability to deal tactfully with residents, family members, visitors, staff and government agencies

Salary: $90,000-$93,000/yr based on experience
