RESPONSIBILITIES
• Adherence to the Governance process by engaging stakeholders, preparing status reports, and conducting executive briefings .
• Conduct project planning exercises to successfully deliver the project .
• Vendor Management tasks including deliverable acceptance, milestone payment, contract adherence, and escalations .
• Budget Management and tracking .
• Create, track, and deliver project timelines, tasks, and metrics .
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
• Seven (7) years as project lead with experience in technology projects involving multiple computer subsystems.
• Recent large-scale website design/redesign experience with upgrades or conversion.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer information systems or a related field.
• Other combinations of experience and education that meet the minimum requirements may be substituted.
• All finalists for positions are subject to a criminal background check applicable to the department or position.
• Ability to be on-site as required by the project needs and project team activities.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS – The minimum qualifications listed above, plus:
• Project Management Professional (PMP), Agile Certified Practitioner (ACP), or other project management certifications.
• Master’s degree in business/Public Administration, Information Technology, or a related field
• Experience in IT program or project management
• Experience leading IT project management teams
• Experience with vendor management
• Experience with software implementation/upgrade
• Experience working with, or for, public sector organizations
• Experience with project and portfolio management tools
