An exciting Clinical Site Network is looking to bring on board a number of Physicians / Medical Doctors on a contract basis across multiple specialties. They are seeking individuals across Dermatology, Rheumatology, Oncology, Ophthalmology and Neurology, to drive their research and ultimately, impact the wider community!
Prior research experience, is not essential.
The Role:
- Conducts clinical evaluations and assessments to ensure that only eligible participants are enrolled in studies.
- Monitors and reviews metrics such as enrollment progress, pre-screening and screening success rates, screen failure rates, as well as participant safety and retention.
- Analyzes study protocols and Investigator’s Brochures (IB) to help develop strategies for patient recruitment.
- Prioritizes the welfare and safety of participants, ensuring ethical conduct is maintained at all times throughout the study.
- Adheres to all medical responsibilities according to the study protocol, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Clinical Operating Procedures (COPs), International Conference on Harmonisation Good Clinical Practice (ICH GCP), and local regulations.
- Reports any potential safety concerns that may affect stakeholders or participants, and addresses complaints or quality issues according to site procedures.
- Maintains meticulous records and manages source documentation with great attention to detail.
- Actively participates in preparing for audits and site inspections.
- Manages the oversight of investigational medical products (IMP).
Requirements –
- Education: Medical (M.D.) degree.
- Access to patient populations is essential.
- License to practice in the state of North Carolina.
