Our client is looking for a rockstar salesperson with experience in the security, government, or healthcare industries. The ideal person will have SLED experience. This person must be located in the region, as relocation is not an option.
SPECIFIC DUTIES, ACTIVITIES, AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
- Identify, prospect and close sales opportunities with new and existing customers to meet or exceed the sales quota assigned for the territory.
- Qualifying inbound leads and prospects via phone and email
- Conducting in-person demonstrations with an end goal of earning a prospects business
- Creating quotations for customers/prospects.
- Reporting and recording all sales activities in Salesforce.
- Implement strategic sales plans that drive new revenue growth.
- Participating in trade exhibitions/conferences.
- Managing the Sales forecast for the territory.
- Participate in product/sales skills training as required.
- Participate/contribute to internal Sales meetings.
- Comply with and ensure department compliance with the company's health, safety, and environmental policies.
- Comply with all applicable U.S. export control and security regulations.
- Other duties as required.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
Education
- Bachelor’s Degree desired/preferred, or work experience in lieu of the degree
Experience:
- Minimum 3 years of experience and demonstrated success in Enterprise Sales/Marketing or Business Development in the B2B marketplace. Experience selling in the education, state/local government, or healthcare markets is preferred but not required.
- Experience with sales and marketing within a related and disciplined sales environment.
- Experience selling high-technology equipment.
- Be able to handle high-pressure situations and work in a target-oriented environment.
- Self-starter with strong communication and interpersonal skills, in person and in a virtual environment.
Knowledge/Skills:
- Self-motivated with a high desire of success.
- Ability to establish and maintain a professional relationship with customers/prospects
- Excellent skills working with a CRM as well as Office 365
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to present information in front of a large group

Will be required to travel within territory frequently to meet with potential customers

WORK ENVIRONMENT:
The Account Executive primary workstation will be in a home office setting, located within their assigned territory. The individual will travel frequently, with most of their time being spent at a customer and/or prospects’ office or facility.
