Job Title: Technical Business Systems Analyst
Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Business Systems Analyst with a prior experience as a developer and deep knowledge in SDLC. The potential candidate must be comfortable with SQL and being able to add columns and rows independently. This role involves a significant technical aspect, coupled with an understanding of how users interact with the systems from a business perspective.
Responsibilities:
- Analyzing business systems needs by aligning with the company’s business objectives.
- Assessing available technologies to develop and present feasible recommendations.
- Facilitate the negotiation of requirements amongst multiple stakeholders.
- Demonstrating an understanding of business issues and effectively communicating them to rest of the team.
- Performing data manipulations in SQL, including but not limited to inserting/deleting rows and modifying columns.
- Working closely with users to comprehend how they utilize the system.
- Documenting and outlining processes by monitoring progress, noting discrepancies, and identifying solutions.
- Continuously striving for system improvement by monitoring, evaluating, and maintaining systems and procedures.
- Addressing technical and design requirements.
- Prepares technical reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Prior experience as a developer and deep knowledge in SDLC.
- Strong technical skills in SQL, including the ability to perform independent data manipulations.
- Understanding complex business processes and experience translating them into technical requirements.
- Superior problem-solving capabilities with an ability to think on your feet.
- Strong interpersonal skills with proven ability to collaborate with a team.
- Excellent communication skills with ability to work effectively with both IT and business users.
- Outstanding organizational and time management skills.
- Experience with business process improvement methodologies and business systems analysis techniques.
