The ideal candidate will contribute to the overall success of the organization by effectively managing all financial tasks. They will oversee the financial operations of the business and provide frequent financial reports.
General Responsibilities:
- Drive strategic financial initiatives and manage cross-functional projects
- Lead tax strategy and implementation; ensure accuracy for all tax filings including annual income tax and periodic sales & use
- Oversee monthly/annual end closing processes, including reconciliations, intercompany reports, AR/AP, revenue recognition, etc.
- Present financial reports to the management team, provide insights on financial data, and make recommendations for future business decisions
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure procedures are completed efficiently and accurately; ensure overall SOX compliance
- Additional duties as necessary
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in accounting or finance; advanced degree a plus
- 10+ years of relevant financial leadership experience
- Prior experience directly managing a team
- Public company experience a plus
