Job Title: Tech Project Manager
Duration: 18 Months
Location: Jersey City
Required Pay Scale: $70-75/hour
Position Summary
The Project Manager will be working within Bank of Americas Global Markets Equities Data and Analytics on a data projects including warehousing, regulatory and supervisory reporting, client reporting and analytics. The PM will be responsible to ensure the needs of our business partners are met as well as work with Compliance and ensure all regulatory and books and records requirements are met.
The Data and Analytics team is responsible building systems that help the Bank leverage the power of data helping a wide variety of users including front office execution services consultants, sales traders, data scientists and compliance.
The role involves working with large volumes of data generated at very high velocity, typically billions of messages a day with peaks of several thousands of messages per second. This position will focus on supporting Non-Financial Regulatory Reporting such as the SEC Rule 613 Consolidated Audit Trail (CAT) and FINRA OATS reporting. Familiarity with such equities transaction audit trail reporting is essential.
• Strong analytical skills
• Strong understanding of Equities trading
• Strong verbal and written communication skills are required
• Strong communication skills with the ability to communicate at all levels of management
• Ability to write database queries to facilitate analysis
• Working knowledge of FINRA OATS and/or Consolidated Audit Trail regulations
• Experience with business, functional and non-functional requirements
• Experience with data warehousing and regulatory reporting including OATS
• Ability to work with various business units (Product, Technology, Compliance, Legal)
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Demonstrated history of taking ownership of problems and seeing them through to resolution
