Installation Supervisor - Fire Alarm / Low Voltage systems

Our client is a niche engineering design group that assists corporate owners in need of engineering management services, working directly with project managers, real estate managers, client representatives and engineering teams. Their approach focuses on multidisciplinary coordination and a detailed view with the end-user in mind. They oversee the entire engineering and design process to make sure every element of a project is done CORRECTLY, ON SCHEDULE and COST-EFFICIENTLY, saving their projects both time and money.
Description:
Immediate need for Fire Alarm Site Supervisors (many different locations), low voltage, life safety. Their projects are Telecommunication network sites and home offices. IMMEDIATE NEEDS! Multiple contract as well as temp-to-perm opportunities available. We will need a candidate that can do the 7:30-3:30 shift but also a 12am-6am shift.
Responsibilities:
- Site observation of installation and reports of fire alarms, smoke detectors, pull stations, emergency exit lights, alarms, etc.
- Supervise and check on subcontractors.
- When finding discrepancies, notify contractors and report to Project Managers
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
- Will be on-site daily at existing facilities.
- Must attend weekly virtual meetings.
- MUST have a vehicle and driver’s license, able to drive to various sites.
- Mileage from site to site is reimbursed at IRS rates ($0.67/mile)
Job Requirements:
- Experience working with low voltage systems and life safety.
- Familiar with National Fire Alarm and Life Safety codes.
- Supervisors should have experience working alongside electrical contractors and technicians.
- Should be familiar with the project scope, and with reading drawings and specifications.
- Ability to travel to several sites daily.
- OSHA certified.
Education:
No degree necessary. MUST have OSHA 10 or 30 certifications
