Our client, a leader in the manufacturing of wireless communication products, is seeking an Electrical Engineer to join their close-knit team. This role focuses on new product development within long range communication products, offering an opportunity to work on exciting projects in a dynamic environment.
Overview:
This role is seeking a hands-on and versatile electrical engineer to help design and produce the growing range of wireless products in various aspects such as testing, documentation, research, installation, troubleshooting, and analysis. You must be comfortable rolling up your sleeves and tackling any electronic problem that arises with innovative solutions.
Core Skill Requirements:
- Circuit and PCB design using CAD software.
- Experience in analog and digital design principles and techniques.
- Familiarity with setting up and operating electrical test equipment, such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, and logic analyzers.
- Knowledge of electrical testing and acceptance test documentation, including design and implementation.
- Skilled in electrical prototyping, including soldering and reflowing SMT components, breadboarding prototype circuits, and modifying PCB assemblies.
- Familiarity with guiding PCB designs through to assembly and production.
Desired, but not required, experience:
- RF design and testing
- Microcontrollers and related circuitry
- Communication buses such as CAN, UART, SPI, I2C, etc.
