Our client is a leading financial services firm who are seeking a hands-on Director of Security Operations Engineering to lead their Security Operations Center (SOC) with a focus on cloud security and container solutions. This pivotal role involves managing a skilled team of security engineers and analysts to ensure the integrity and security of our infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the design, implementation, and operation of cloud security frameworks and container security solutions.
- Lead incident response efforts, ensuring swift identification and mitigation of security threats.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security best practices into cloud deployments and containerized applications.
- Develop and implement security policies, standards, and procedures aligned with industry regulations.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the SOC team.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in security operations and engineering, particularly in cloud and container environments.
- Strong knowledge of zScaler and zero trust architecture.
- Exceptional leadership skills with a track record of managing high-performing teams.
- Experience across EDR, networks, SIEMS, IAM, threat and vulnerability management.
