The Director, End User Experience outlines a strategic role responsible for leading the design, management, and implementation of end user technologies to support 15,000+ employees productivity and clinical care. The candidate will oversee the Service Desk, manage IT issue resolution, and ensure compliance with cybersecurity standards. This person will have upwards of 75 reports across Service and Help Desk and report into the CTO.
Key Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's in Information Technology or healthcare administration (or equivalent experience). 4 year degree, mandatory.
- Experience: 8+ years in healthcare IT, particularly in end user design and virtualization technologies like VMware and Citrix.
- Certifications: ITIL Foundation (or must obtain within 18 months).
- Skills: Strong knowledge of Service Desk functions, enterprise architecture, project management, cloud migration, and IT service management.
- Attributes: Leadership, problem-solving, strong interpersonal skills, and results orientation.
Responsibilities:
- Design and implement end user computing technologies (devices, virtualization).
- Manage Service Desk operations, ensuring high levels of customer service and issue resolution.
- Collaborate across departments to align IT support with organizational goals.
- Oversee compliance with security standards and device management.
- Develop strategies for cloud enablement and virtualization to optimize performance.

This position is responsible for designing, managing and delivering workplace solutions and will lead the end user team to transform, design, build and operate cost-effective standardized and reliable system-wide solutions focused on end user devices (Workstations, tablets, mobile phones, etc) productivity, mobility, collaboration, and communications, and including VDI and other application virtualization solutions
