Empowered Staffing is partnered with a leading independent insurance agency based in the Chicagoland area. With over 75 years of experience, our client offers both personal and corporate insurance, and has been recognized as a top Employee Benefits and Life Insurance agency. Due to growth, our client is looking to hire a Client Service Manager for their Life Insurance Division.
Primary Responsibilities:
· Handle and process client requests promptly, such as owner/beneficiary changes, bank account updates, premium payments, and collateral assignments.
· Assist in implementing new policies by reviewing accuracy, updating systems, and preparing commission sheets for bookkeeping.
· Manage all aspects of client service for life insurance policies, including policy surrenders, loans, withdrawals, death claims, and providing policy statements and summaries.
· Maintain strong knowledge of the life insurance product landscape to assist clients effectively.
· Oversee and control online carrier access for both clients and agents.
· Update the internal CRM system during the client servicing process.
· Conduct regular meetings with agents to review and assess clients' service needs.
· Collaborate with internal departments and assist in servicing life, disability, and long-term care policies as needed.
Qualifications:
· Experience in life insurance client service is highly preferred.
· Strong communication skills and a proactive approach to client and agent interactions.
· Ability to take initiative, exhibit creativity, and demonstrate ownership in tasks with a positive attitude.
· Proficiency in Microsoft products and web-based systems.
· Acute attention to detail with excellent organizational and multitasking abilities to meet deadlines.
