The qualified candidate will have flexible packaging process/substrate industry experience.
- Experienced in plastic technology, engineering, or scientific discipline and a working knowledge of polymers in the flexible packaging industry.
- Five or more years of work experience in the commercial flexible packaging or polymers/plastics field.
- Experience in Technical Service and/or Product Development positions and/or basic R&D in the field of Polymers/Plastics.
- Experience and knowledge in one or more of the following areas – characterization, testing, or extrusion of blown and/or cast film applications.
- Experience with polymer characterization methods/tools including thermal analysis (DSC, TGA, DMA, DMTA), rheology (dynamic, capillary), FTIR, NMR, TEM, SEM, etc.
- Experience and knowledge in polymer and flexible packaging physical property testing, ASTM Standards, etc.
- Good working knowledge and familiarity with polyethylene resins and products.
- Preferred Bachelor's Degree - equivalent experience will be considered in place of degree.
