Now Hiring: Senior Transportation Engineer/Project Manager

As a Project Manager in Roadway/Highway Design, you will implement project directives under the guidance of a Senior Project Manager, Associate, or Principal. Your responsibilities will include design, planning, and documentation tasks that contribute to the success of each project.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development of design and technical documents through all phases of projects.
- Prepare, plan, and develop project design elements including, but not limited to Roadway and trail systems (geometry, vertical alignments, super-elevation, cross-sections & traffic management), stormwater management, hydrology, and hydraulics computations, "wet" and "dry" utilities, and erosion & sediment control.
- Design and create technical documents in AutoCAD or MicroStation Open-Roads software.
- Advance and lead planning studies, corridor evaluations, preliminary and final design plan production, and project permitting.
- Remain current with Local, State, and Federal design standards and regulations to ensure compliance.
- Manage contract budget and billing.
- Develop, track, and maintain project schedules to ensure client expectations are met.
- Write change orders as necessary to address changes to scope and assist with tracking orders and work outside the scope.
- Ensure effective communication and coordination on assigned projects between other project participants, including architects, engineers, developers, contractors, and clients
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering.
- 5+ years of experience in all phases of services in transportation planning, design, and management.
- Experience in AutoCAD and/or MicroStation.
