Job Title: Solar Monitoring Manager/Coordinator

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Solar Monitoring Manager/Coordinator to oversee the monitoring and performance of utility-scale solar projects within the PJM region. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring optimal performance, managing technical issues, and coordinating with various stakeholders to maintain and improve the efficiency of solar projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and analyze the performance of utility-scale solar projects to ensure they meet or exceed performance targets.
- Coordinate with field technicians to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues promptly.
- Manage and maintain monitoring systems, including software and hardware components.
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize the performance of solar projects.
- Prepare and present performance reports to stakeholders, including project developers, investors, and regulatory bodies.
- Collaborate with the operations and maintenance teams to ensure timely and effective resolution of issues.
- Conduct regular site visits to assess the condition and performance of solar installations.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and industry standards.
- Provide technical support and training to team members and stakeholders as needed.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in solar monitoring and performance optimization.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in solar project monitoring, operations, or a related role.
- Strong understanding of solar PV systems, including inverters, modules, and monitoring equipment.
- Proficiency in using solar monitoring software and data analysis tools.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to travel within the PJM region as required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with utility-scale solar projects in the PJM region.
- Certification in solar energy or related fields (e.g., NABCEP).
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards for solar projects.
