Principal Process/ Mechanical Engineer
RL Enterprise Recruiting & Staffing is hiring a Principal Process/Mechanical Engineers in Greenville, SC for long-term contract opportunities. As a Principal Process/Mechanical Engineer, you will lead the planning, design, and construction phases of multi-disciplinary engineering projects, with a focus on process and mechanical engineering systems. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to complex projects, including those in the nuclear sector.
Required Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering required
- 15+ years of experience in process/mechanical engineering with expertise in design, estimating, specification preparation, construction document preparation and related phases of engineering
- Strong knowledge of Federal, State, and Local codes, including Department of Energy (DOE) Orders
Job Description
Responsibilities;
- Provide technical direction to assigned engineers
- Conduct construction document reviews
- Plan, organize and coordinate process/ mechanical engineering and multi-disciplined team projects while in engaged in the planning, design and construction phases of engineering projects including project start up
- Prepare and review calculation and specifications relating to P&ID development
- Demonstrate design experience in areas such as, but not limited to mechanical systems and equipment design
- Generate and review the accuracy of design/ evaluations calculation. and specifications
- Familiar with computer aided drafting applications
Requirements;
- Proof of U.S. citizenship is required
- Professional Engineer License preferred but not required
