The company is looking for a Downstream Manufacturing Technician to join the team !This is a hands-on, entry-level position that focuses on fundamental unit operations, ensuring the safe and efficient execution of essential tasks in the production process. Job Type: 6-Month Contract
Pay: $19-20/ hr.
Shift: 2nd Shift (Sunday-Wednesday, 2:00 PM – 12:30 AM)
Responsibilities:
- Perform fundamental manufacturing tasks such as parts cleaning, equipment setup, material weighing/dispensing, and staging
- Assemble production kits and support buffer preparation, including transfer into tanks and bags
- Assist with equipment cleaning, including cleaning-in-place (CIP) and sterilization-in-place (SIP) of manufacturing equipment
- Stock consumables and update controlled SOP binders
- Ensure all tasks are documented accurately in compliance with cGMP and cGDP standards
- Maintain production areas according to 5S standards (Sort, Set in Order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain)
Qualifications:
- High school diploma required. Associate or bachelor’s degree in biotechnology or a related field is preferred
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a cGMP-regulated environment is preferred but not required
- Ability to follow SOPs and work instructions precisely
- Flexibility to work in a 24/7 shift structure and adapt schedules as needed
- The role involves working on the 2nd shift (Sunday-Wednesday, 2:00 PM – 12:30 AM)
- This is a contract role with a 6-month duration, offering the opportunity to gain valuable experience in the biopharmaceutical industry
