Your role at Clorox:
The Maintenance Leader will provide effective leadership for the Maintenance department at the Aberdeen Manufacturing plant. This role requires strong skills in managing and developing people and delivering results across key performance indicators, including safety, quality, unplanned downtime and cost. The Maintenance Leader will serve as a plant technical expert, collaborating closely with various departments to drive continuous improvement initiatives throughout the manufacturing process to increase capacity, operational effectiveness, and efficiency.
In this role, you will:
• Oversee the Maintenance function in the plant, ensuring the reliability and efficiency of plant equipment and facilities.
• Adhere to plant safety, quality, and environmental guidelines.
• Manage budgets, site security, and ensure optimal plant performance.
• Work cross-functionally with Operations, Quality, and Engineering to meet site objectives.
• Supervise Plant Facility Management, including security, safety, maintenance, utility systems, and permits.
• Foster the development of maintenance skills among mechanics and other team members in the plant.
• Improve operational predictability by taking ownership of the preventive maintenance system. Develop, deploy, and execute plant maintenance strategy through data analysis to reduce plant breakdowns.
• Mitigate safety risks by emphasizing safety as a core value and investing in error-proofing measures.
• Manage the MRO Store and spare parts inventory.
• Oversee capital projects; collaborate with key vendors and contractors.
• Manage day-to-day maintenance of facilities equipment (Boilers, DI Water, Wastewater System, HVAC); partner with Engineering to determine capital needs for repair/replacement.
What we look for:
• 5+ years’ experience in a high production-manufacturing environment
• 3+ years’ experience with direct leadership/management in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.
• Experience with maintenance planning systems and tools.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• Industrial working knowledge, including hands-on experience in troubleshooting problems that arise on the maintenance floor.
• Strong technical aptitude and people management skills.
• Proven project management and problem-solving abilities.
• Effective budget planning and management.
• Excellent training, coaching, and leadership skills.
• Highly organized with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Experience with MRO parts inventories, procurement fundamentals, and improvement methodologies (TPM, 5S, Lean, etc.).
• Bachelor’s degree in business or technical field Preferred
• Working knowledge of SAP and or other ERP processes and systems Preferred

Your starting pay will depend on job-related factors, including relevant skills, knowledge, experience and location. The applicable salary range for every role in the U.S. is based on your work location and is aligned to one of three zones according to the cost of labor in your area.
–Zone A: $86,600 - $161,900
–Zone B: $79,400 - $148,400
–Zone C: $72,100 - $134,900
