Requirements:
- TS/SCI clearance
- Bachelor’s degree plus 8+ years of experience - OR no degree plus 10 years of experience - within VMware Systems Engineering
- Comfortable using VMware ESX and Horizon
- DoD 8570 compliance IAT Category Level II Certification (Sec+ or other)
Nice to Have:
- Experience with Windows and Linux operating systems, troubleshooting, and performance tuning
- VCP Certification
Day to Day:
Insight Global is hiring a TS/SCI Systems Engineer to join our team 100% onsite at Offutt Air Force Base in Bellevue, NE. This person will join a team to provide systems engineering on VMware systems including providing support on ESX and Horizon. Responsibilities will include:
- Developing and implementing complex virtualized architecture systems
- Providing advanced support to IT systems where you are the solution provider
- Full lifecycle implementation from installs to deprecation
- Drafting and updating technical requirements, engineering documents, configuration documents, training manuals, and troubleshooting processes
