JOB SUMMARY
Elevanta, an AMCI Accredited Atlanta area association management company, has experienced significant growth with additional client groups. Elevanta manages several franchisee associations made up of franchise owners from multiple brands (Supercuts, Burger King, Meineke, Zaxby's, Buffalo Wild Wings, Qdoba, and more).
We are looking for a personable and professional individual to be responsible for all advertising sales for digital and print publications, website and electronic newsletters, sponsorship packages, and exhibitor booth sales for all of Elevanta’s association clients. The ideal candidate must thrive in a challenging and fast-paced environment where prioritizing and organization are the norm. This dynamic position will work in a team environment to further the growth of all Elevanta Association clients.
Job Duties:
- Inside sales of exhibitor booths, corporate sponsorships and advertising
- Develop leads, make cold calls to vendors and close sales for: exhibit space at national conferences and events, corporate sponsorship for national and regional events, advertising for magazine publications, advertising for e-publications
- Extensive phone calls required on a daily basis to existing and new prospects
- Develop extensive contact list of sponsors, advertisers, and prospects for various client groups
- Sell print-style ads for digital and print magazines, banner ads, and varying levels of sponsorships packages
- Ensure vendor payments are collected
- Coordinate conference sponsorship and exhibition with meeting planners and other office staff
- Work with Director of Communications to identify potential advertising opportunities
- Renewal of past exhibitors by developing long-term relationships with all business partners for each brand under Elevanta management
- Maintain exhibitor prospecting, sales, contact activity, and follow up records for accounts
- Maintain a high volume of sales outreach activity, including outbound calls, emails, and in-person prospecting
Qualifications/Required Skills:
- Bachelor’s Degree in related field required
- 4+ years of demonstrated sales success
- Advertising/sponsorship sales experience
- Exceptional negotiation and communication skills (verbal and written)
- Salesforce
- Knowledge of contract management and sales tactics
- Ability to raise funds from different industry tiers
- Ability to create multiple strategies to reach ad revenue goals
- Ability to establish and maintain relationships with vendors
- Highly organized and self-motivated
- Outstanding relationship management and reporting skills
- Good time management skills, ability to prioritize, and proactive work ethic
- Some travel required; up to 10-15%
