Position Overview:
The Director Marketing is a leadership role responsible for developing and executing Bloomβs business and brand marketing strategy to drive growth objective & scaling energy drinks business. This role requires a strategic thinker who has had classical brand marketing management experience, experience in beverage category as well has exhibited impact through being entrepreneurial & scrappy in fast paced environments. Looking for a brand marketing leader with general managerial aptitude who has ideally had both: Big CPG and Start up experience. The Individual should have passion for understanding market trends, consumer behavior, performance analysis and come to strategic conclusions & implications. The individual will work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, creative, influencer, brand, product development, finance & NB teams to drive brand growth and achieve business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Business Planning for Drinks
- Develop and implement comprehensive Business strategies to define priorities for delivering desired brand growth.
Overall P&L Understanding & Managing Bloom Specific Areas
- Develop revenue growth plan, cost management, marketing budget management & profit delivery.
- Execute the plans to achieve revenue & profit target goals.
- Diligent tracking & reporting of performance and developing strategic pivots as needed.
Portfolio Management ( Beverage)
- Manage & develop drinks portfolio strategy across SKUs & customers.
- Develop recommendations for rationalization, expansion based on performance and market opportunities.
Business Analysis (Beverage)
- Deep dive into business performance ( IRI & SPINS data) and analyze to identify trends, competitive landscape, and consumer insights.
- Utilize data-driven insights to inform brand marketing strategy and tactical plans.
Cross-Functional Collaboration (Bloom & Nutrabolt)
- Establish and lead the metrics for scaling the drinks business.
- Work closely with product, sales, brand, marketing, supply & operations team to ensure execution of the marketing brand plan.
Budget Management:
- Develop and manage the brand marketing budget, ensuring effective allocation of resources to achieve strategic objectives.
Stakeholder Engagement:
- Build and maintain relationships with external partners, agencies, and influencers to enhance brand visibility and reputation.
- Represent the brand at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities.
Qualifications:
- Ideal to have experience across Big CPG as well as in Start Up space
- Experience in Beverages & DSD model is highly preferred
- 8+ years of experience in brand management, marketing, or a related role, with a proven track record of success in leading brand strategies.
- Strong understanding of brand development, consumer behavior, and market dynamics.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in data analysis and the use of analytics tools to drive decision-making.
- Creative mindset with a strategic approach to problem-solving and brand positioning.
