A $1 Billion AUM Chicago based real estate asset manager is looking for a real estate accountant. Multiple investment classes including multi-family, commercial, office, industrial, and retail. They have a proven track record of providing their real estate investors with desirable returns and offer great w/l balance for employees (3x a week in-office in River North). Ability to be part of a growing firm which boasts a great culture.
Job Responsibilities:
-Review and prepare property level financials
-Budget vs actual variance reports
-Assist with new deal transactions
-Respond to internal and external inquiries regarding property level requests
-Assist the accounting and finance department with Ad-Hoc deliveries
Job Requirements:
-4 year degree in accounting or finance
-1-4 years of experience within Accounting / Property Accounting (real estate)
-Willingness to learn and pick things up quickly
-The right attitude and team mentality
