Position Overview: ROMTech, through its subsidiary ROMTherapyTM, delivers an innovative, first-in-kind home-based Cardiac Rehabilitation program through the use of telemedicine and connected medical devices. We are now looking for a self-driven Medical Device Sales professional to join our fast-growing team as a Program Liaison. The Program Liaison will identify and secure additional sources of patient referrals for our innovative program. This is a full-time, remote position, reporting directly to our Director of Business Development, Cardiac. Candidates must have experience in the HCA hospital network in Denver, CO.
Responsibilities:
- Identify and secure additional referral opportunities for ROMTherapy at-home cardiac rehab within assigned healthcare system(s) and offices.
- Develop working relationships with referring staff within assigned healthcare system(s) and offices, including but not limited to medical assistants, administrators, prescribing physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, case managers, social workers, executives, and associated staff members.
- Assist referring staff with ordering process, including education on required documentation and method of transmission (fax, email, EMR), retrieval of missing documentation, etc.
- Assist in the creation of educational materials for ROMTherapy at-home cardiac rehab as assigned by supervisor.
- Act as subject matter expert on ROMTherapy at-home cardiac rehab program.
- Provide individual and group education (in-services) to healthcare system(s) and office staff on diagnoses accepted for cardiac rehab, including assisting in the cursory screening of appropriate patients for referral.
- When appropriate, present at-home cardiac rehab program to patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
- Liaise with ROMTherapy Account Manager and supervisor on healthcare system(s)/office staff concerns and feedback; proactively identify needs of healthcare system(s) staff and develop solutions alongside supervisor.
- Perform live demonstration of ROMTherapy at-home cardiac rehab program to healthcare system staff, including use of Portable Connect and cardiac monitoring accessories.
- Provide regular reports to supervisor on actual and projected patient volumes at assigned location(s).
- Meet or exceed prescription objectives for healthcare system(s) and offices.
- Other duties as they may arise and may be assigned to the employee.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years in medical sales, cardiology preferred but not required.
- Experience in the HCA hospital network in the Denver, CO area, required.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
- Ability to regularly travel within an assigned region.
- Proficient in Microsoft 365, EHR and data entry.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
