firstPRO is seeking a hands-on PC Support Specialist to join our customer’s PC Support Team. In this role, you will be responsible for configuring, delivering, installing, and validating technical equipment, performing on-site troubleshooting, and resolving hardware and software issues. You will communicate technical information clearly to foster a collaborative environment and maintain accurate inventory records while adhering to the customer’s technology standards and policies.
This is a long term contracting opportunity and sits 100% onsite.
Key Responsibilities:
- Configure, deliver, install, and validate technical equipment as requested.
- Perform on-site diagnostics and troubleshooting for hardware and software.
- Identify, research, and efficiently resolve technical issues.
- Maintain and update inventory records for hardware and peripherals.
- Follow technology standards and policies set by the customer.
- Provide on-site technical support using creative problem-solving and a consultative approach for end users experiencing issues related to hardware, software, network, and security.
Qualifications:
- Associate’s Degree in Information Sciences and Technology or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 2 years of progressive experience, preferably in a clinical setting.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service abilities with a self-motivated attitude.
- Knowledge of mobile devices, networking, PCs, printers, and related technology.
- Familiarity with network protocols, computer hardware/software, and peripherals.
- Friendly, professional, and adaptable with the ability to work effectively across all staff levels.
- Ability to travel to multiple business and educational locations (location-dependent).
- CompTIA A+ certification is highly desirable.
- A valid driver’s license is required.
