We are looking for an experienced and driven Product Marketing Manager to champion key product lines within our consumer packaged goods portfolio, specifically for Home Depot. This role is ideal for professionals with 3-5 years of product management or product marketing experience who are looking to grow. You will lead product line refreshes, develop and execute comprehensive plans, and align with brand strategies using insights from market and consumer research. You’ll guide the development of an 18-month roadmap and product portfolio using a Stage Gate process to innovate, from concept through execution, and identify new opportunities for profitable growth.
This is a pivotal role for someone passionate about driving results, optimizing product performance, and collaborating cross-functionally to bring category-leading products to market.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Planning and Development
- Lead new product development and innovation using the Stage Gate Process, ensuring alignment with brand strategies.
- Partner with Marketing Research to conduct trend analysis and identify consumer insights that drive product line growth and inform marketing strategies.
- Conduct competitive analysis, gap analysis, and data analytics to identify growth opportunities and develop actionable, profitable strategies.
- Manage the performance of assigned product lines, proactively adjusting campaigns and activities to ensure P&L targets are met.
Consumer and Product Marketing
- Oversee the full product lifecycle from conceptualization to product launch, including pricing, design, packaging, and marketing campaigns.
- Develop product and packaging strategies, value propositions, and positioning for your product lines to drive sales.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver a product that resonates with consumer needs and market trends.
- Seek out and apply design trend reports and market insights to shape product roadmaps and marketing strategies.
- Support SKU rationalization efforts to improve inventory performance.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Collaborate with key stakeholders including Sales, Procurement, Engineering, Market Research, and Supply Chain to ensure smooth execution of product strategies.
- Build strong relationships across teams to navigate differing priorities and creatively influence outcomes, ensuring alignment and driving product success.
- Share best practices and streamline processes across product lines, leveraging cross-functional insights to enhance overall performance.
- Champion a Continuous Improvement mindset by participating in initiatives that support operational efficiency, cost reduction, and business growth.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
