Airswift is working with a provider of HVAC, electrical, and plumbing services that delivers commercial and industrial solutions tailored to various facility types and industries.
We are currently looking for a Plumbing Estimator to join their growing team in a permanent role.
Job Overview:
Support sales objectives by assisting the plumbing sales team with estimating for new, remodel, retrofit, and replacement projects. Work directly with customers and field technicians to deliver accurate estimates promptly, ensuring client expectations are met.
Core Responsibilities:
- Estimate Design/Build and plan spec projects
- Draft detailed Scopes of Work
- Gather and assess quotes/bids from vendors and subcontractors
- Produce competitive, timely, and accurate estimates
- Manage customer, vendor, subcontractor, and contractor relationships
- Track multiple projects under tight deadlines
- Act as primary contact for customer account management
- Negotiate contracts and close sales to maximize profits
- Forecast and track key account metrics
- Develop new business with existing clients and meet sales targets
Experience Required:
- 5+ years of field experience (preferred)
- Proven experience in mechanical wet-side and plumbing estimating
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel
- Experience with FastEST, FastDuct, and FastPipe or similar (preferred)
- On-Screen Take-Off experience required
- Familiar with commercial mechanical wet-side piping and plumbing
- Knowledgeable in federal, state, and city regulations
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
